| Bail-out ROI: Retail Needs Stimulation |
Our presidential candidates both talked often of bailing out Main Street along with Wall Street. That concept resonated with both Democrats and Republicans. But what IS Main Street really? Main Street has homes and stores on it. It’s an eco-system that starts with a consumer. That consumer walks into a physical or virtual store. We already have too many of the homes lining Main Street in foreclosure. Isn’t having empty storefronts lining virtual and physical Main Street equally problematic?
